Nano Banana Quality Checklist
Inspect likeness, local-edit seams and consistency across revisions before treating an image as usable.
#Ten initial checks
- Complete, undistorted subject.
- Plausible face/anatomy where relevant.
- Correct text and logos.
- Destination ratio.
- Sufficient actual resolution.
- Appropriate brand palette.
- Usable whitespace.
- Clear detail.
- No unintended elements.
- Coherent visual style.
#Subject and people
Check edges, seams, shape and proportions. Inspect fingers, expression and identity-sensitive features at full size. Local editing, a more suitable authorized reference or a different framing may help, but do not assume a request to “fix the hand” guarantees accuracy.
#Brand elements
Reserve space for exact text and overlay approved vector logos where possible. Inspect generated lettering and color rather than trusting approximate resemblance.
#Dimensions and safety
Check the real export, planned crop and platform interface overlays. The source's central eighty-percent safe-area example is a heuristic, not a guarantee for every destination.
#Color, detail and consistency
Compare the series side by side for palette and brightness. Inspect faces, products, text areas, foreground/background joins, aliasing, noise and shadow direction at one-hundred-percent scale. A claim of improved likeness makes careful comparison more important, not optional.
#Destination-specific checks
Products: accurate item/color, complete subject, appropriate background, destination dimensions and no misleading representation.
Social covers: clear topic, title space, readable crop, suitable content and acceptable compression.
Advertisements: accurate claims, appropriate rights/consent, correct branding, clear action and consistent size variants.
Print: printer-approved physical size, pixel density, color setup, bleed and export format. Do not infer print readiness from a prompt's “high resolution” phrase.
#Diagnose common failures
For blur, inspect source dimensions and actual export options; do not assume an undocumented Ultra model exists. For color differences, use a defined palette, suitable display conditions and shared finishing. For deformation, simplify the scene or edit with a better reference. For drift, return to the original anchor and fixed brief.
#Final release record
Confirm rights/content suitability, correct format/dimensions/file size, brand consistency and preserved originals/prompts/versions. A practical team sequence is creation, self-review, second review, approval, then authorized publication and archiving.
Use the team's existing layout, color-inspection, compression and asset-record tools. Tool choice does not replace the review itself.
