Canva Quality Check
A design that looks acceptable in the editor can fail after export. Review visuals, message and output in a fixed order.
#Six initial checks
- Alignment.
- Typeface consistency.
- Clear hierarchy.
- Image and copy telling the same story.
- A visible call to action.
- Correct output specifications.
#Visual QA
Align heading edges, card/image spacing and the visual baseline of icons, numbers and text. Check heading weights, Chinese/English combinations and whether numbers or Latin letters dominate unexpectedly.
Use strong contrast to support the headline or action rather than several competing regions.
#Content QA
Check whether the headline communicates a real benefit, whether visual and written tones match, and whether dates/locations receive appropriate hierarchy. The editor cannot decide what the graphic is meant to communicate for you.
#Export QA
Verify format, thumbnail readability, required transparency, compression quality and cropping in the actual destination preview.
In teams, assign who may publish, who gives final approval and which brand elements are fixed. Where supported, design approvals and brand controls can enforce those decisions.
#A repeatable review
First shrink the design and identify the main message. Then inspect alignment, spacing and typography at normal size. Finally export and preview it in its destination.
Ask: can someone seeing it for the first time tell within three seconds what to look at, remember and click? If not, revise it.
