Claude Projects
A Project groups relevant knowledge, instructions and conversations around a continuing task. It is more useful when treated as a focused workspace than a general file bucket.
#What to retain
Keep materials for one codebase, course, client project or recurring content operation together. Project knowledge and instructions provide continuity, while individual conversations still need the context relevant to their task.
#Write practical instructions
Define the audience, format, rules and treatment of uncertainty. These are more useful than a long persona description.
#Team maintenance
Manage access, material scope, instruction consistency and update cadence. Shared knowledge is useful only when it remains current and appropriately accessible.
#Common mistakes
Uploading everything into one project, omitting instructions, assuming every conversation automatically shares all prior context and ignoring sensitive-data permissions can all undermine the workspace.
Organize by continuing task or product/client/course rather than mixing unrelated operations.
