Image Style Control
Style control means maintaining a coherent series across revisions, not producing one striking image.
#Sources of drift
An undefined palette, conflicting keywords, large prompt changes and inconsistent composition/material descriptions can affect both legacy DALL·E and newer image workflows.
#Fix four dimensions
Color: establish warmth, brightness and atmosphere so assets look related.
Lighting: front, side, back, soft and hard lighting produce different surface qualities. Missing lighting direction can be mistaken for missing style vocabulary.
Materials: metal, glass, paper and fabric must remain consistent in product, interior and poster work.
Composition: centered, offset, close and distant framing can make the same subject appear to belong to different series.
#Legacy style parameter
The source describes DALL·E 3's style values vivid and natural. For a maintained legacy integration, know which setting it uses and verify that the endpoint still supports it. These settings influence direction rather than acting as universal color controls.
#Change one dimension per round
For example, adjust lighting while keeping framing fixed, then adjust material while keeping color fixed. This makes it possible to identify what improved or damaged the result.
