Sora Storyboard
Plan the sequence before generating many clips. The source describes a Sora 2 workflow; product availability and controls should be checked separately from these general production techniques.
#A small sequence
Three to five shots may be enough: establish setting/tone, show the central action or value, emphasize a detail, then close the message or leave action space. Too many disconnected shots weaken a short piece.
#Record per shot
Include the purpose, subject, action, framing, movement, duration and fixed style elements.
textShot 1 Goal: establish the city-at-night mood Subject: storefront and pedestrian flow Camera: wide shot, slow pan Duration: 3s Style: cinematic, warm neon, realistic
#Why storyboard first?
It exposes shots that do not advance the narrative, gives content/design/editing collaborators something concrete to discuss, and reduces wasted refinement.
#Practical sequence
Write the shots, generate a first pass for each, align style and rhythm, then choose which deserve further refinement.
When a workflow includes generated ambience, effects or dialogue, storyboard the audio relationships as well. Pictures that cut together can still fail through mismatched sound or emotional continuity.
