Runway Quality Check
Check usable communication, not just visual novelty.
#Five first checks
Inspect subject consistency, light/color continuity, natural camera movement, readable captions/copy and correct output specifications.
#Visual QA
Look for facial drift, changing clothing, distorted products and inconsistent details. Check that adjacent shots share compatible light and style. Watch for broken actions, aggressive camera movement and stretched or flowing backgrounds.
#Content QA
Does the shot serve the script's point? Do the headline, voiceover and captions agree with the picture? Is the call to action clear and timed appropriately?
#Platform QA
Preview thumbnails, vertical safe areas, duration and compressed clarity in the intended placement.
#Audio QA
When using supported audio or lip-sync features, confirm the sound improves the content and that dialogue timing matches mouth movement. Stable imagery cannot compensate for distracting audio.
#Review sequence
Watch silently, then with text/captions, then in the destination ratio, then with sound. Separate passes make visual, information and distribution problems easier to identify than repeatedly watching the editing canvas without a checklist.
